Eventually the spa starts losing its water level due to a worn out back flow gasket. This valve can replace it in just 15 minutes. (Don't over tighten the screws)

Nice quality, I needed two, One for the pool one for the spa, overnight the spa would leak back into the pool , in the pool store they're a little pricey so I took a chance on these installed easily they've been working great I would buy them again. No more problem

My Jandy valve is installed horizontally at the highest point in the pool piping system. Per Jandy instructions, this is the worst place to put a check valve. The Atie flapper kit works well even in this bad application. Our spa looses a couple of inches of water overnight to back-flow, but that's it. The old flapper let our spa drain lower than than the supply jets, making a lot of water noise every morning when the spa had to refill. It's a good replacement part that is very easy to install. Coat the top o-ring with Vaseline to assure a good seal.

It doesn't seem to matter what brand I purchase, the longevity is is always about the same, so hopefully this cheaper model works just as well, so if I need to replace again, it was too expensive.

These flapper assemblies are identical to my Pentair originals. Super easy to switch out and work great. Now my spa doesn't drain into my pool after the filter cycle ends. Highly recommend.

Bought these because my local pool store was out. A lot less money and they work just as well. Great buy for the money. Could actually replace 4 of these for the price of 1 at my pool store.
