My RV has significantly different lengths of heating ductwork. This results in radically greater air flow between the registers close to the furnace from those much farther away. Our furnace was in our bedroom which would quickly overheat while the kitchen at the other end of our trailer would be easily 20 degrees lower. Replacing our bedroom register with one of these made a huge difference in reducing airflow into the bedroom and increasing airflow in the kitchen. Now no more than about a 5 degree temperature difference between the rooms.Overall, these registers do the job. I only give them four stars overall for two reasons. They are a bit noisy when the lovers are fully closed (which still lets some air through), and the design of the louver levers that protrude from the front earns zero stars. With our registers close to the floor the levers are frequently getting bumped and opening back up. Horrible lever design.

Easy to install. I modified mine for a custom project and were easy to cut with a dremel on low speed. The louvers don't seal the hole completely though so some air will leak by.

The cover falls off from time to time, could have installed it wrong but over all it works like it should

I liked it better than the Original vent cover

We needed a vent cover that would close off because the vent blows right onto the side of the toilet. While installing it, we had to screw the duct hose into this to keep it from sliding off. The material is pretty flimsy and hard to keep the faceplate on. It does pretty much close off the heater air flow.

Don't think the part to open and close will last long, but we will see. Everything else looks good.

Good product works like advertised

Good fit in my metal garage door. Glued in some foam insulating strips to minimize gaps when closed. Took extra 15 minutes.

Two issues with this item.Black vent. White screws. No you shouldn't be able to see the screws but still seems off.It is very hard to snap the louvers on if the wall you're mounting to is flimsy.
