The plumbing on the inside is not plastic. Nice and durable. Would recommend.

I am amazed! The valve body of this faucet is actually made out of brass. Shame it's going to be hidden in the wall of the shower enclosure. Pays to read reviews. I almost bought a replacement with the same plastic guts that broke.
