Both of my parakeets absolutely love this. One of them is a voracious carver and she loves chewing and making things happen in her home. The other one is much more timid and at first she found this toy to be intimidating, but after a few days of watching my other parakeet play and chew on it, my second parakeet gained the courage to face the toy and has quietly chewed on it a little bit every day since then.
