Buy an upgraded hose kit. Ridged sells one. I bought the one Ridged sells. The hose that comes with it is junk. Also you need to be using a dust bag in addition to the filter that comes installed. Use the High-Efficiency Size A Dust Bags for 12 Gal. to 16 Gal. RIDGID Wet/Dry Vacs (2-Pack). If you don't use a dust back the filter will clog in a very short time. All the wheels swivel so it is really easy to move around the shop.

Chimney suction and cleaning

This thing does it all.....more than enough suction power, long power cord, even oversized wheels to roll over power cords. The attachments are nice, but I use myine for dust collection and to suck up water. Word from the wise, the stainless will get impregnated with carbon if there are steel shavings in there very long. This will cause the stainless to rust. But only surface spotty rust (wherever the carbon steel was able to penetrate the stainless). When the one I have currently wears out I plan on purchasing another and would not hesitate to recommend strongly to anyone. My father in law has had his for over a decade and its still going very strong, so I likely wont need a new one any time soon. Great job Ridgid!

I'm not sure how it's possible that this company could put out a product like this.... every time I use it the hose falls out of the coupler that connects it to the drum (it falls out on BOTH SIDES)!So wish I had never bought this piece of crap!
