The 2 piece isn't a problem for most doors however I built a heavy on and did t notice the 2 part top rail/bar. However it was installed and works but I assume over time I'll need to either retighten the joint or weld it.

This was a great value for the price and very sturdy. It looks awesome! The only complaint is the bottom is not steady, so I purchased a stabilizer and am going to give that a try.

Difficult to install, directions are hard to follow, lots of improvising and LOTS of extra thinking and planning beforehand, but beautiful and worth it. I love it.

These are very solid brackets and look great. Only problem I had with them is that the mounting holes are evenly spaced at 16 inches. It is almost impossible to get these to line up with all the studs and line up with where you want it and the size of your door. I ended up mounting a 1” x 4” horizontally to mount to.
