Using this on my 03 Mitsubishi montero. It's been on my car for about a year now and is still holding up. It's still in great shape, no wear and tear. The install is very simple. The thickness of the cord is pretty good.

Secured the spare to my hitch chain connection. It was JUST enough length to do so. It would be best if it was about a foot longer for an under-bed spare like my F150, but probably not an issue on a wrangler. The dust cap is a good idea for weathered states up north (a problem I had with a vike-lock version).

Works great. It takes a brief minute to properly orient the lock so it does not come off with any force.

Couldn't use this as advertised on my 2018 2door Rubicon because of how the base is situated, but I threaded it through a few times and seems to do the trick. Hopefully by having the locking mechanism inside the wheel base it wont have the rusting problems other reviews have run into.

I feel this is a decent lock. Obviously there are other out there, but for the price, ease of use, and length it works as expected.
