Fits perfect on 2020 Ram 3500 4x4 with 2.5 receiver. Super easy to unlock with the vending machine circular key. Nice cap to keep the water and dirt out of the lock too. No regrets here.

The truck is new, the hitch is new, and the lock has not received any wear and tear to comment on. Looks great new. The key is easy to operate. The dust cap fits snug. I like the black color. I like the way both ends are tapered somewhat the same. Gives it a balanced look. Most importantly it is rated for 32k. The hitch I own is rated at 16K. Towing max for the truck it is used on is 18.5K. I will never hit those numbers but good to know because I didn't purchase this lock just for looks. Recommend.

The company took the time to ensure even though I ordered 2 individually packaged units with separate keys to make the key codes the exact same. I now have both locks under 1 key on my hitch. It looks very sturdy and should help to deter a medium level of theft. Obviously with an electric cutoff saws or a torch this item wont slow them down, but for the casual thief this should do the trick.

I considered giving four stars because of the cap that goes over the locking mechanism that others have complained about. But by giving a 5 star review hopefully I will get more notice because there is a cure for the problem. Persistence over resistance. It Is quite difficult to make sure the cap is secure. However, once it is secure the cap mates up well. The stated towing limits are well within the capacity of my 2500 diesel. I have yet to actually toe with it.
