FOR THOSE WHO SAY IT DOESN'T KEEP THEIR HAIR DRY: almost no cap will keep your hair dry while swimming, even the ones that professional swimmers use. Caps are designed to keep your contained, NOT dry. Hope this helps for those who see all of the negative reviews with this complaint.I have been a team swimmer for over 9 years and have always struggled with how hard latex and silicon caps are on my hair, resulting in a rubbed and worn down hairline at my temples and the base of my skull. I also like to precondition my hair prior to swimming which makes it difficult for regular caps to stay on through out my practice. One of my team mates uses this arena fabric cap so I just had to try it.PROS: I've been using it since May 2023 and it hasn't stretched or worn out (I swim 3x per week in chlorinated pools.) It doesn't budge during practice and the baby hairs along my hairline are beginning to grow back, which is great since I will be getting married in a year from now.CONS: I noticed that there is a bit more drag on my swimming, since water is able to permeate the fabric compared to a latex or silicon cap, but ultimately this will help me get stronger and be more fluid in the water when I switch to latex caps for swim meets. This extra drag is not a deal breaker for me and I still prefer this cap over the traditional ones.Overall, I recommend getting this cap if you are concerned about your hairline or if your cap slips while you are swimming.
