Got this kit as a supplement to our multi-week homeschool unit on weather and weather tracking.Overall, a nice kit. Good directions/booklet. The weather vane/anemometer is really nice. The bottles are thicker and sturdier than the standard 2 liter. So far it's been very useful and I'm happy to have it.Couple issues, though. The backing of the barometer and (tiny) thermometer are cardboard, making it impossible to leave them outside (especially frustrating as the barometer "experiment" recommends leaving it outside for several days). It also came with two balloons of entirely different sizes with no indications in the instructions which to use.

Bought for hands on learning during homeschool for our kindergartner and it was a blast. She enjoyed the water bottle clouds, and was so excited for the rain gauge (sadly someone stole ours the night we set it out) but it was a great set.

Bought for 9 year old for homeschool. He wasn’t interested in much of it only the liquid part.

There are 65 experiments but only the first 30 or so were interesting to my children. The instructions and scientific explanations could be written better. It is a good idea to skim through the labs because you will need to save some of the experiments form previous labs to use on other experiments, which is kind of a pain to have to do. All of the experiments worked out for us. My kids liked the section on polymers the best, which was making instant snow, gummy worms, expanding jelly balls. and slushy goo water gel.

Experiments are uncomplicated but produce cool results. Introduces basic lab vocabulary like pipette and hypothesis. You don't need to be a science geek to enjoy this product. My 8 year old Grandson loved it and I had fun helping him. Well worth the money.

It arrived today and to my shock it wasn't in a box or bag. They just slapped the label on the plastic carrying case and sent it. I tried to get the label off, but it left that sticky residue on it. I've so far tried Goo Gone and Lestiol. I'm going to have to try something stronger, but I'm afraid that it will destroy the plastic. Industrial glue remover isn't intended for plastic.

We will have fun in the summer collecting things. It has a cheap microscope so we purchased a better one to look at our specimens but it does have a magnifying glass. It has some very good books with it with fun experiments and kids can learn a lot of science!
