I got two flexbars after reading several reviews that they helped with golfers elbow. I have chronic mild to moderate golfers elbow (as identified in an MRI), so it won't go away and it is perpetually annoying. I have tried everything and seen every specialist. I am now seeing a soft tissue specialist who is helping a lot, I mean a lot. I got these flexbars before I started the treatment. I thnk they do help build strength in my tendon. Is it a cure all, nope. I think it helps. I also got some anti-inflamitory cream, which hopefully with everything I am doing now I will be back to full speed in no time (I have hope now). I think the flexbars are good, but they can't stand alone. If you are like me and have chronic golfers elbow try a soft tissue specialist, it will work wonders. Again, this is a reviw for the flexbars, and I got the red and green and I do the exercises three times a day (they are on YouTube) and in conjunction I think they are helpful.

I got this to work on my tennis elbow, it has deffinatly helped. I keep it on my desk and do some of the exercises through out the day, it's better than one of those stress balls you squeeze.

FlexBar heavy and medium have helped continue my P.T. and Occupational Hand and shoulder Therapy beyond what my insurance would allow. It is effective and efficient. Great for my injured hand and shoulder''' I will suggest this to my orthopedic specialist when I see him this week after months of P.T. and O.T. for a very serious, life changing injury. Great item.

Watch the Tyler Twist video on YouTube for the FlexBar. It's easy to learn. This is the only thing that helped me after suffering with tennis elbow for 8 months. You will feel it (kinda hurts) when you do the exercise but that's what your arm needs to heal and strengthen. After just a few days I could start to use my arm again for lifting and carrying, and the discomfort decreased. I only exercised 3 times a day, 15 repetitions each time, for about 2 weeks, with the red FlexBar. A month has gone by and my arm continues to improve to the point I seldom remember I have tennis elbow. I also recommend Penetrex cream along with the FlexBar. I massaged this into my arm after each exercise and I think it helped also. For less than $50 total you can be on your way to recovery.

I had a relatively minor tennis elbow injury that sidelined me from tennis for a couple months, and it was frustrating as all heck to rest to recuperate. Yes, rest helps, but you have to strengthen the tendons and muscles in your forearms. Even after using very light dumbbells to exercise my forearms, I was making very little progress to getting back on court. To be clear, I'm only saying that rest is necessary but not sufficient to recover from tennis elbow. As always, consult your doctor and don't just take my word for it.Until I noticed some offhand remarks that even professional tennis players are carrying this in their bags. That tells me the pros are using this to (a) prevent tennis elbow and (b) strengthen their forearms for kinds of advanced stroke they hit. Bottom line: they know it works. So I tried it. Two weeks later, I'm back on the court playing pain free (plus some technique changes). I recommend getting the 15 lb bar if you're trying to get back on court. Don't go back on court until you can do 3x15 reps of various exercises without much strain. I'm planning to move up to the 25 lb bar as extra insurance to really build up my strength.

I've been using the red Thera-Band for about a month to treat tennis-elbow that I've incurred after years of Jiu-Jitsu/Judo grip fighting. I've been performing one exercise as demonstrated in a video tied to the NY Times article from the Fall of 2009 and another exercise that my brother came up with, which is just an inversion of the video demonstration. The change in my level of pain has been dramatic (for the better)! The exercises do have to be performed with regularity, as with any rehabilitation process. I'll be recommending it to everyone that I know in the Jiu-Jitsu community as this is a common chronic pain that many just accept as something that can't be avoided.

I love this product. I am using it now for a few weeks and so far as I know it helps me already. The great thing is that I can pick it up any time when I feel like it or have time.Alex Pietersen
