bought hats from Lapco before in 7 3/4 and fit good. these at 7 3/4 too big. quality assurance in the manufacture process must be nil. or it is a knock off.

Ordered one while in welding school and used it until the ends were frayed and the stitching was failing, the second is still in service after just under three years and can easily say I have less burns on the back of my neck because of them!I would advise buying multiple, two or three, and washing them between long uses due to a buildup of sweat and other such issues but that might be a personal issue rather than one with the product.

This is a great fitting welders hat for my head size most hats don't fit my huge head this does and having had weld spatter enter my ear was no fun this is a great protection and fits great would buy it again 4.99 out of 5 the only issue is that I feel it on the back of my neck
