I originally purchased these as individual tools back 20 years ago when that was the only way you could get them.These new versions are of a slightly lighter weight material, so I fear that maybe they won't last as long. The kit is a nice way to keep all 3 tools in one place. I do like the addition of the handle. Save on poking your hand with the prongs of the tool.Good value for necessary tools if you work on multi-conductor automotive connectors.

I used this to de-pin a 20 year old alternator connector that crumbled during replacement. This saved me from having to splice wires and keep the factory wires intact
