Great price and they are sturdy but these stink so bad like borderline intoxicating. I'm going to try washing them and see if the smell goes away.

I bought this for physical therapy on my shoulder, per my chiropractor. Oh my goodness, it works better than a tennis ball.It does have an awful smell, but it works:)

It seems it's hit or miss. You either get what you pay for, high quality and density lax balls, or they smell so bad.I'm using them as a massage aid and I physically cannot use them because the chemical smell makes me want to be sick. I've washed them with dish soap, soaked them overnight in hand soap, even washed them with tooth paste. At this point they are outside on my balcony hoping the smell gets weaker.

Good quality, very pretty, but have a heavy chemical odor. I use these to roll out my muscles, so the odor matters to me a bit more. I ordered the two pack of multicolored ones. I've bought quite a few lacrosse balls and never had an odor like this before. Tried washing them with soap and it made it worse. They're currently living outside in a hope the odor goes away. I ended up going to Acadamy and buying a pack and zero odor.

Love this ball for my back! Roll it against a wall for a massage, for physical therapy. It attracts lots of dust though.

These probably work fine as lacrosse balls. I got them as massage therapy balls. But they have a terrible chemical smell that is pretty much intolerable. The fumes coming off of them cannot be good for you.
