Ordered this and the first one I received the clasp didn't want to stay shut and my badge keep coming off. I let the seller know and they sent me another one right away and didn't even ask for the first one to be sent back. I have had 0 issues with the second one. Mine has held up well and it's ability to clip it on in two different means makes it very nice!

I am pleased with it so far, but I use it one or two times a week. So let's see how long it last. OK!

Works well for a time but after a while, the string can snap. Also, the plastic black part can be detached from the surrounding metal. I used to use this everyday for around a year, so wear and tear is expected, but losing keys is a big problem if it snaps

I work in a secure City Hall that requires a badge to access the parking, elevators, office area, and even the rest rooms. I have to pull the badge out so many times I either keep in on a lanyard or clip it to my belt. This carabiner badge holder allows me to hook the badge onto a lanyard, a belt loop or to clip it to my belt. It saves a lot of wear and tear on the badge and so far has helped me to avoid losing the badge. The price was right and it came quickly in the mail. I cannot remember if the postage was out of proportion to the cost of the badge but that would be my only concern with an item like this.

This clips well on a belt for dress pants without damaging the leather. I took one star off for the size (i little big in my opinion). Overall it works well and looks great!

I've used this almost every day for just over a year. Sometimes the black circle falls out of the clip part, but I just pop it back in. Overall it does the job and I'm happy.

Update: After several months of heavy use, my string died yesterday by not retracting back. This is the second badge holder that has broke on me. Like my original review says, I extend the string a lot at work, so it's bound to happen. I won't subtract a star based on that because I feel like all of these clips sold on here are cheaply made.I'm required to badge-in/out on a daily basis through almost every door I use at work. I needed something with a retractable cord and purchased this based on the reviews.Initially, I liked that it was lightweight. It has a belt clip and a belt hoop clip. Both secure firmly but obviously the belt hoop clip is more secure. It also serves as a key chain.The big flaw however, is that the black circle inside the chrome housing can easily be punched out, causing the badge itself to drop to the ground. This has occurred several times and if you don¡¯t hear it, you may be without a badge and not even know it. I¡¯m not sure if this is a design choice or flaw, or if mine just didn¡¯t come glued together. But it definitely loses a star which is disappointing considering I like everything else about it. I haven¡¯t yet but I¡¯ll likely just superglue the thing to prevent this in the future.With that being said, I use my badge 20+ times a day and it¡¯s only fallen off a handful of times ¨C annoying and potentially costly, yes. But I can deal with it. I did however, want to let everyone on here know.

I bought this mainly for the clip on the back as most of my work pants don't have belt loops. The carabiner is an added bonus. I hate the spring clip on the badge reel they gave us and this has made me very happy so far. Folks at the office liked it too. I haven't had it long enough to see how durable it is, but it's survived the two falls it's had. The only improvement I could see here is to make the clip a little tighter.

it works, what can I say. The clip on top is nice for attaching my badges to the cage behind the front seats in my work vehicle. spring for retracting is adequate, not too weak not too strong.

This badge holder is well made and has both the clip and the carabiner. However, I didn't realize that the carabiner would dig into my side when I clipped the holder to my belt. I suppose it would be fine if clipped to your shirt it would be fine. It is good product.
