This transformer was the perfect solution to provide 12VAC to power a speaker protection circuit. It's very well made and will do the trick for many low current applications.

I replaced my porch light with a address light and needed a transformer. The instructions said to use a 12v or 16v transformer. 16v? That doesn’t make sense to me. Home Depot only had 16v available so I used that and it didn’t work. I’m glad the bulbs didn’t fry (assuming it was 12v bulbs). I ordered this 12v transformer and it works fine. And yes, I did use a multimeter. You should always use one and check your breakers.

Purchased this 12V transformer for my house number sign. It was very difficult to find a 12V transformer and this fit the bill. It appears to be light duty, but it worked fine. Very easy to install and has been working fine since installation.
