The item was listed as being NEW There was no remote and no paperwork in the box (ex. instructions/manufacture warranty).I really needed the item, and did not have the time to send it back and/or wait for a replacement. The return shipping cost may have also cost more than the remote is worth, so I relunctantly chose to just keep it.
