The concept of this tie was perfect for a gift to my keyboard loving son for an upcoming friend's wedding. They were inexpensive so I bought two other styles along with it. The two others were zebra and angle striped and were great. This one was of good quality like the others, but was sewn together so that the black keys were only showing across one third of the tie. It didn't look much like a piano keyboard at all. Since they were fairly inexpensive I didn't bother to send it back, and the other two are nice so I don't feel too bad.

it's too skinny I might use it to wrap it around my fedora hat instead since it's that skinny, and that way i'm still matching, even though I wish I could use it as a tie instead to match

This tie is super shiny. Pops out a little TOO much.

Very skinny. A little too skinny. Not sure if thats standard for this brand or if that is traditional skinny tie cut.

I like the print, but the the tie is too skinny for my taste. I would love it if the tie was wider.

Be aware, OpenTip charges you shipping and handling, then if you don't like the item, they charge you 20% restocking fee. After getting this very unwearable at work tie, I returned it. I think all told, I spent $15 to have nothing. They obviously undercut the cost of the product so they don't have to give much money back. The tie:OMG, it's shiny. Like, practically reflective. The photo makes it seem like it would have a texture... the texture is shiny. The fabric is thin, so it slides around and bunches as you try to tie it.The shape of the tie is such that when you tie it, you can see all the loops. The knot cannot get big enough to be a nice looking knot.If you want a cute black/white plaid tie, go elsewhere.

Loved it at first, now I don't so much. The back of the tie is VERY poorly sewn on and is ready to fall apart any day now. Good materials, just not constructed very well.

POOR QUALITY. THE TIE IS EXTREMELY NARROW FOR AN ADULT!A NORMAL ADULT REQUIRES A WIDER TIE IN ORDER NOT TO LOOK FUNNY!

Silky like texture and the look is great but it will unravel or threaten to unravel after some use. The price kind of lends itself to that expectancy but still didnt enjoy that.

We bought these for our groomsmen to wear in our wedding. The material looked cheap and shiny. But in pictures and from a distance they looked as nice as my husband's tie he bought from Banana Republic. They served their purpose and were really cheap value.

Honestly went w/the ties from TopTie for the simple styling and uber-low pricing. So cheap, I ordered two. They came in, at $3.00 a tie, and a $31.00 total cost for ties + STANDARD USPS shipping... WTF. $25.00 shipping fee for two ties in a tiny package that could've been sent priority for ~$6.00. I felt scammed, and could've purchased better ties locally for the total cost. At least the ties still look decent.

I ordered a "Black & White" tie. Every single picture available shows it clearly white. yet I received this strange, shiny Black & Light Grey tie. Looks like something I'd wear to a bachelor party, which isn't what I had in mind. It's in no way fit for a formal event.
