Item works well as far as saving water. But it is work to put on and remove from your pool. Plus, have to remove it more often than planned. It increases the water temperature 5 to 7 degrees. Summers in Texas can be hot. Pool water temperature normally gets as high as 95 degrees. Well with the cover it was getting to102. It felt like swimming in a hot tub. Would not recommend if you use your pool often.

Like it works and very well. But the 7 years warranty is pretty much unless it is Very Limited. I've owned 2 of these most recent purchased in March 2021. Use from late March to Late June and again in late Sept to early Nov. Store dry and in mostly dark. If I shock the pool the cover comes off. So the March 2021 buy has been used about 9months total. It is falling apart, it is not delaminating or coming apart at seams (those are the warranty items). Warranty is pretty close to a scam. If I recall the first on lasted about 2.5 seasons. I have owned a couple other brands. Heavier mil seems to last longer and cost more. My guess is buying any solar cover is a bit of a toss up as far as brand. You just need to realize that 7years would be a miracle. Feel good if 2 full seasons. Sadly i would probably but another one.

If you're in Socal, better get one now before a cover is mandated for drought water conservation.Prices will double on these at that time.

I think handling this much plastic and storing it w/o a winder would be difficult. Of course that depends on the size of your pool. It increased my pool temp by 15 degrees in AZ.

I couldn't remember what mil thickness I purchased 9 years ago, so I went with this lower cost option. Judging by feel if this one is 12 mil my old one must have been 14-16 mil. Like I said, that one lasted 9 years, so if I get 3-5 out of this one, I'll be happy. I have an electric heater now, so this is really just for stopping the evaporative cooling and keeping it blanketed at night.

It is large so almost need two people to cover pool. It is durable and has kept pool temperature up.

Followed all company guidelines, and it deteriorated in less than 1 full season. Have been trying to get a response to our warranty claim since September 27 (3 weeks).

I was impressed with the quality until I had it a couple days and one of the seems started to come undone. Now it's undone about 3' and I may have to have it replaced but other than that it's fantastic it does its job very well

We needed a new solar cover as our two year od one was being eaten by chlorine. We do not expect this one to last more than two years as we use chlorine . But we are ok with that. That is why we buy the cheapest ,12 mm, one we can get . Delivery was fast. Packaged in a heavy duty plastic sleeve. All is good.

This pool cover was very poor quality and I wouldn't recommend it. It barely lasted a year before it fell apart. We have a pool full of little blue pieces!

Very easy to cut to fit. Easy to roll up. Makes a huge difference. Keeps the water warm.

So far so good on my salt water pool. One install consideration. Pool is 31'x14'. Bought 32'x16' cover. I did not cut down cover to pool size. Allowed extra length of cover to extend up the walls of pool slightly above water line. This prevents the pool water jets from pushing water up pool wall and over cover. In the past an exact 31'x14' size cover allowed water jets to push water onto cover creating puddles of water on cover. Then water evaporated leaving a lot of white salt stains on the blue cover. Now, with cover extended up sides of pool wall there's no puddles and no salt stains.
