Used this on an inground pool and has done its job.

The cover lets me save electric and water at same time. I can heat the pool alot faster with cover on and heater running because the heat is not escaping therefore saving on water evaporation. the only problem is getting it on and off if you dont have a reel to wrap it on. I have done it alone on my 31 x 15 pool and i will say without the reel it is a little bit of a pain while trying to keep dirt off it. 2 people it is alot easier.

Easy to cut.

I live in Hawaii where it is sunny most days. I found I had to add quite a bit of water to my pool due to evaporation at least once a week, sometimes more in the summer. Since installation of the solar blanket, I haven't had to add water to the pool yet (it's been over a month) and had to lower the pool level when we had several days of heavy rain. It was super easy to install and easy to cut to shape (mine is a kidney shaped pool). If you have a rectangular shape pool, it'll be even easier! The blanket also stopped the dead leaves and debris from my trees from going into the pool.It does warm up the water (my pool is not heated), which is a bonus for me. So if you like your water cool, you will need to remove the cover a couple of days before using to cool it down. Overall, this product works great for reducing the amount of evaporation from the pool and helping to keep the pool cleaner. I highly recommend it.

This product disintegrated after 10 months in Southern California weather. It literally fell apart and I have blue plastic dots all over my backyard and in my pool.

This cover came apart in 1 year. We contacted the company but got no help to replace the cover. Said out of stock and we should purchase another cover.

people.. buy this if you are having issues with evaporation. seriously I had to add water to my pool at least once per week. once i bought this i haven't had to fill it. i mean unless the kids had a weekend in the pool had had water loss due to playing. the only thing i would say i dislike is you need 2 people to take it off and but it back on.. also, water gets super super warm. I live in CA who wants to swim in warm water when its 110 outside... if were gonna use the pool we take the cover off at night so the water will be cooler. great buy. I've had it less than a year and it still looks brand new.. will definitely purchase this brand again if need be.

Product is disintegrating after not even one season...I've had many pool covers and this one lasted the least amount of time...

We cut this to fit the pool and I wish I had bought this years ago. It's seriously keeps the pool warm. It also helps with evaporation and our chemicals are lasting longer. We were going to cut it into two pieces so it could be easier to get on and off, but it's really not that hard. It's so worth it. If anyone else has got it let me know if you feel the same way.

Easy to cut to size. Keeps pool so warmalmost too warm! Dramatically cut back on water evaporation. If I leave it off even a day water temp drops about 10 degrees. It literally feels like swimming in a bath.

I was a little sceptical about this one. Felt thin and just a big piece of plastic, however it real works good. Keeps the pool clean and keeps water from evaporating, which is why we bought, also warmed up our pool pretty good.

I've only had this a few months and everyone says they only last a season but I'm happy with it.

This is a very nice floating solar pool cover. It is a thicker material than I have purchased in the past. It lays down on the water than flattens out in a day or so. I ordered rectangle and my pool is kidney shaped. I laid the material out on the water with it overlapping the edges of the pool on all sides. I got it as flattened out as I could and then trimmed if about 2 too big all the way around. I then went back and trimmed it so it would lay on the water and was about 3/4 from the tile. I then let it rest on the water for a day. I used a pool skimmer to get as many air bubbles out as possible. The next morning the cover was again touching the tile as it relaxed and flattened out. I again trimmed it back about 3/4 from the tile. Some areas didn't need trimming and others did. I am extremely happy with the fit and boy does it generate heat! There might be faster ways to install these covers but I wanted to take it slow and make it as nice as possible. The material slices like butter with a pair of good scissors.

We have a heated pool, but with home heating oil prices being what they are this year we were looking for a way to not have to heat the pool as much. This cover is doing far more in the effort than we could've hoped. We had a stretch of weather where the days were shooting up into the 80s but nights were dropping into the upper 50s. Putting this on each evening held the heat of the day in beautifully.We didn't want to bother with one of the large roller devices. My wife doesn't like to remove the cover herself. I can, but it's lots of back and forth. With the 2 of use, however, it's a breeze and it folds up nicely so we can drag it out of the way.If we get a season out of it I think it will have paid for itself, but I'm confident we'll get much more.

Covers my pool completely and has my pool so warm it's amazing. As long as it can cover it for a few days when it's hot your pool will heat up.

I bought this because of the reviews and supposed durability. But in 30 days the seems are coming apart. I dont even remove it from the pool. We just roll it up on the water and push up to a side. So I dont know what is causing this to happen. The cover is easy to install and roll up when you are in the pool (not so easy when you are out of the pool). It definetely warms the water and will extend your swimming season. It also does help keep out bugs and debris. I was hopping to get a year or so out of it but I guess not. I am now trying to get a hold of customer service but no luck so far.

Cover absolutely deteriorated in 6 months of use. Chemicals were always in check so not the major cause of problems. Just cheap solar cover that doesn't last.

I like how vibrant the blue is. It seems to keep the water from cooling down. We haven't had it that long and it's the test durability that I want to see. The last two I've bought have only lasted one year. Hopefully this one will last longer
