I wear a size medium in all of my jackets. This Berne Gasoline jacket runs small and the sleeves are short.
The other issue is the lining in the sleeves are the same as the body of the coat, which is fleece. That makes it fairly difficult to put this jacket on if you were wearing a flannel shirt. A taffeta lining would be much much better, like Carhartt uses. The price is way lower than the comparable Carhartt Detroit jacket. Order up a size, maybe get a tall as well.

Its a very nice piece of clothing. Its warm and has a fair amount of pockets. However the medium was a bit large, so large that the sleeves were baggy. Bot only that, but I ordered an olive green and received a brown jacket instead.

Overall its a nice product despite the above.

I've owned this jacket for about 4 years now and the outer shell wears like iron and it is still comfortable and warm to wear. However, the pocket linings have fallen apart just from putting car keys in them and quite a few places have the stitching slowly unraveling. I cut off a lot of hanging threads now. It should also be noted that this is not a "Made in America" Berne jacket. It's made in Bangladesh. This was bought to replace a 10 year old Craftsman jacket (of very similar styling) that was getting too stained and dingy. Ironically, I still use that Craftsman jacket for real filthy get in the dirt/under the hood stuff/welding and it still has no loose threads and all of the pockets are still intact despite holding screw drivers, box cutters and wrenches. YMMV.
