Currently renovating the kitchen and we thought this would be a slam dunk compared to taking the time to build our own. At $160, I was really hoping for a good quality item. Right out of the box, the design seemed OK, but due to the furring strip that is cautioned to not be removed until after assembly made it impossible to test its functionality before hand. We installed it, removed the strip and added a door panel. It functions OK, but I was immediately underwhelmed with how wobbly the sliding portion of the cabinet was. There is tons of play in the slides. The quality just isn't there. The upper slide does not remain in its "closed" position due to the sag in the cabinet from the play. This causes the upper side of the cabinet to poke out while the bottom remains in its closed position. This is my first purchase from Rev-A, so I can't speak to their other products, but I would recommend looking elsewhere for a 3" spice cabinet, or take the time to build your own if you're at all handy. You could build something much more sturdy with high quality slides for less than $100.
