Was pleasantly surprised that the taste was really good. Other 'mint' protein bars have a taste that's almost chemical. This Is a winner for Pure Protein bars.

If your a very picky eater I wouldn't recommend it . Very strong taste but that much is expected from a protein bar . Very chewy

product arrived in good unopen condition, bars were fresh, much better deal than the grocery stores which recently changed their boxes to have only 4 bars for $7.99.

Most power bars do not taste very good. I am not going to say this one tastes great but it is the best one that I have tried so far. The chocolate coating makes it taste better.

When I was searching for protein bars, I noticed this affordable kind and thought based on the images that they were going to be crunchy. However, turns out they're very chewy and hardly crunchy. I made a mistake and tried my first bar without drinking water so it gave a weird after taste but when I had my next bar with a drink of water after each bite, it helped me not have that aftertaste. Due to it being hot recently, made the bars really soft so I put them in the freezer and they taste a lot better and have a better texture, not exactly crunchy and not soft either but it's a good texture that I liked.

The last few times I've ordered these it look as though they have melted at some point (see photo) Obviously they have been exposed to excess heat. This time around the taste is off. Next time I'll just go back to buying them at Sam's. Disappointing.

Based on the photos of the product, I expected it to be a lot drier and not as chewy as it is. Definitely want to have something to drink with this bar.Overall, I'm happy with this product and will purchase it again.

These bars have come in handy when we need a healthy snack in between meals or during long travel days. They taste like a candy bar when they are slightly warm/melted. All protein bars are chewy- no getting around that- but the flavor is very good.
