The only thing we didn't like about this is the color of it, it's not that bronze color, it's actually silver. I don't mind it but I also like to receive what I'm being shown.

One plastic sleeve split during first use. The head shape and hinge make it difficult to capture a ball in the water. Length is very good and the tubing is excellent.

Does not work as expected. Can not clamp golf ball correctly. Used after refund expired. Could not get refund.

This is a very heavy and long golf ball retriever, and requires it's own place in the top of your golf bag. I wound up getting a 34;I GOTCHA34; golf ball retriever as it is only 24 inches long when collapsed, and expands to 18 feet, and is lighter than the ProActive retriever. It fits easily into a side pocket.

It is difficult to 34;scoop34; the balls with this retriever, compared to other models. If you can master that feat, this retriever may work for you.

It has a solid reach, but the coupler for the last section isn't the best at staying tight, so it's pretty easy to spin the head when trying to retrieve a ball in some mud...
