The size was perfect. The smaller box doesn't stay open real easily, but that's not a deal breaker - it stays open, just not as easily as other boxes I've had.

These boxes work perfect to keep little items and jewelry in them. Love the fact that they have locks on them. They are well made and sturdy. Would order again for gifts.

The color of the wood was off. Had to use furniture polish to help remove the dullness.

These boxes look so nice! They seem well made as well and appear sturdy. They were a gift: I loved them. I was with the recover when he opened the gift.The locks were very “finicky” to use: I noticed this when I put the gift together but thought they may just be tight and would loosen up. Honestly though, they are cheap.Upon opening gift, we tried several times to use them and everything has to be very perfectly aligned for them to work at all, they key seemingly able to break/bend with opening the lock that seems to catch.Overall tho, I can buy one new lock, all I need, for the gift-receiver. Just buyer beware: the boxes are really nice.

I got these boxes to use as keepsakes. This way I can have different things like notes that were given to me, pictures, etc. with me while I’m at college. They’re perfect for this! Great size and you can tell it’s real wood bc of the smell (which I love!!)

I wish the inside was colored like the rest of the box and that the locks weren't so hard to open I thought I was going to break the very think keys and you have to press the key in all the way and practically look for the specific spot that it catches which is very hard to find. Over all I love the boxes but I'll be looking for a new lock

I really like the boxes but the finish wasn’t good at all. I had to do some work on it before I used it.
