This bit holder is a lot stronger than the ones that use a 34;U34; shaped spring to hold the bit. The small 1-inch bits lock in place very snug but the square end going to the driver is lose, at least with my 3 drivers, making the bit and this holder come off the driver together. This adapter holds the bits so tight you need a firm grip or maybe pliers to remove one when changing types or sizes. One star deducted because the new price is simply not worth the cost considering there are alternatives.
