I took a star away from this, mostly because the first one I got which deserved six stars was so incredible that when I got it's replacement after losing the first I was super disappointed that it didn't blind me when I flipped it on. And I want to mention that the first got six stars AFTER losing a star for the unfortunate placement of it's switch which pretty much guaranteed that you were looking into all 60 face peelingly bright LEDs as you flipped it on. It's a great durable light, recharges easily, was super bright, now is only bright, hopefully I just got a bunk one, we'll see when I get another when I undoubtedly lose this one someday. I was also a little disappointed that the magnet hook that comes with it has been switched to plastic rather than the metal hook that the one I got in 2011 had. It's just a crappier than the idiotically awesome one I got back then, but is still a great light....get it!

Bright work light and secondary torch light at end are great. However after a year of very intermittent use the switch started to fail and the unit didn't seem to hold charge very well.

I really like this light- its bright, versatile and charge lasts a long time, however after about 6 mos of only moderate use it stopped working. I liked it so much I bought another and am hoping for a better result this time.

I was so tentative about which light to buy. Lights are very tricky. This one turned out to be a winner. Nice and bright. The magnets are strong... stronger than I thought they'd be and I was pleasantly surprised as such. Comes with a wall charger and car charger.

I think this is a worth while light for many purposes. Magnets are surprisingly strong and useful. Battery lasts as long as advertised so far and the light on the base has been much more useful than I originally expected. Originally purchased for working on vehicles but have wound up using it for many more tasks. Has been knocked around and dropped many times but is holding up great.

The light is bright and works well. The magnets works great to attach the light to a car, as they are rear earth magnets. I have only charged it twice so far but would like a little longer basttery capacity. Great light overall. Flashlight at bottom is nice to save power when you only need a little light. Comes with a car charger also.

Nice light but it's a bit short on battery life IMO. I've had mine for over a year now and love it to work under dashboards in cars and other tight spaces. It's very bright for about a half hour but starts to go down hill after that. If it had longer battery life, I would rate it 5 stars. It's been dropped several times and still works fine. Overall I like it.

If it were a bit brighter, I'd give it 5 stars. I was laying dark laminate flooring, and the room light is poor, and it was night time. I got this out to help me see the joints so I could properly stagger them, and it did that but it did not light up the corner of the room light an incandescent drop light would. That being said, it doesn't get as hot, and will likely last much longer.

This light has very bright LEDs along the upper part, which give enough light to light a room when the power goes out or if you don't want to turn on the electric lights. The bottom end also serves as a flashlight, but the beam from this is a bit diffuse to be really effective as a flashlight. Overall, though, this is a product worth owning.

This is a good light and easy to recharge. The only thing that I don't like about it is the magnet on the handle. It seems to collect every piece of metal from large to small and it's difficult to clean off the magnet.

It is definitely convenient to have a portable work light. This one seems to be ruggedly built and for a LTD unit puts out a reasonable amount of light. Do not expect the same amount of light as one would get from a incandescent work light it is almost always adequate and does not have the bright glare which can be a drawback to conventional lights. One minor complaint, the magnetically mounded hook can be a benefit but the magnet will also pull wrenches out of your bag when removing the light.A small lightweight handy light.

I had sent this exact light to my son for his use. Since he seemed happy with it, I ordered one for myself. It is very useful in tight spaces and under the car. The only down side is that a couple of the small LEDs have already stopped working (burned out?). I hope this is not a trend. The light is far too useful to have it's output diminish by any significant amount.

I bought one of these since I needed a worklight in the garage.I've been burned by too many fluorescent lights so I wanted to go LED.This has a pretty bright light, but the battery only lasts 3-4 hours before significant dimming occurs.The magnets on the top and back are great! i'm surprised how much those magnets help. Its a nice impromptu screw magnet and does a solid job holding the light where I need it.4/5 due to battery life.

I'm a marine mechanic and find much of my days spent in small, dark engine rooms and such. This light makes life that much easier being cordless and LED.The magnetic hook is a great feature, it can be moved from the top or the side.My only grip (and it's a small one) is that every nut, bolt and piece of metal shavings stick instantly to the two magnets on the light.so far this week, I've had the light ON for over 5 hours and I didn't need to recharge it but went ahead and did so anyway due to another long day coming, better safe then sorry. I don't know how long it will actually last and honestly, I have no intention of finding out the hard way.I'm concerned about the lens covering, it seems light and thin and I'm sure its quite strong but I am a full time mechanic, we're not kind to our toys... Time will tell it the lens will be scratched to hell or even break.
