Excellent pair of linesman's pliers - I'm an electrician and use these every day I'm on the job. Good construction and durable; with a wide and flat side that works great for pounding the odd staple. Cutters are strong and only now beginning to dull after 9 months of regular use. Only complaint is that the rubberized handles are a little bulky for someone with medium-glove-size hands. Will continue to use these until I blow them up.

I???ve used different pairs of linemen???s before and I can say for the price these are an absolute steal! They feel heavy duty and sturdy. Honestly, I own scissors in my bag that cost more than $12.. you could literally try to destroy these on a messy job and save your nice linemen???s for brighter days.

These are great to hit someone with or for demolition, they're HUGE. But for less than $20 I'm not complaining.

Quality and heavy-duty, but a bit bulky. I bought them to use as 34;beaters34; for stuff I don't want to touch with my high-quality linesman's pliers, and they fit the bill perfectly.

I still prefer my Klien's, but I will say this about the Irwin linemans. They are heavy duty. Emphasis on heavy. I've used these as a hammer in a pinch on more than a few occasions. They also put up with cutting through 4awg solid copper without breaking or damaging the cutting edge. Can't say that about some lesser linemans cough HUSKY cough

I love this thing. If I ever need a good grip, I gravitate to this. I only gave it four stars because the soft handles can slip off when pulling in the wrong direction.
