This sanding block is superior to the 3M version because the rubber stays flexible allowing easy sandpaper change. Use with wet or dry sandpaper. Comfortable fit.

This is a block that should last forever. Uses the commercial precut paper so easy to load and comfortable to hold and use.

This review will be similar to others, but for good reason.I had a 3M one like this (soft rubber) and later bought another one by 3M. It wound up being a hard polymer material and was a nightmare to use. This version by SG is the one you want !!

This sanding pad is perfect with very flexible rubber for inserting sandpaper and did not discolor adjacent door trim. The black 3M one I had bought locally was extremely hard to open enough to get the ends of sandpaper in. It made black marks on door trim.

Perfect size sanding block when you need some backing to the block. Nails inside grab the sandpaper securely. Works great. Properly sized for many jobs. Excellent design.

I needed to touch up a section of a large plaque It needed to be hand sanded and blend into the surrounding area. This worked beautiful. I had a very even sanding surface it was easy to use and the corners allowed me to sand to right up to the already covered area's without marring the surface

I can't find these ar stores anymore. This is the same as my 40 year old rubber sanding blocks. Holds 1/4 sheet of sandpaper perfectly. There is no better system for hand sanding.

The only gripe I have is that I didn't pay attention to the length (5) so a standard piece of sanding paper cut in quarters wont fit lengthwise. (But that's fine because I always need small pieces anyway.)

This block has just the right weight and feel. For light sanding, you can just sweep the block across the wood using only its own weight for downward pressure.It takes a bit of getting used to when you load the paper, but it's not an issue. I've used it for grits from 60 to 800. I'll probably buy another so I don't have to change grits so much.

Solid rubber and very durable . Have had an identical one for over forty years. Finally showing signs of rubber fatigue so got a new one. At 85 this will last til they toe tag me then son and grandsons will b using it. Get one, it's cordless and never needs recharging

I had a 3M sanding block that was similar but misplaced it somehow. I found a generic version that was similar, but it was so much more difficult to use. In fact, the rubber was so stiff you could hardly lift it to put the sandpaper in. I bought this one and crossed my fingers. It was perfect! So easy to use!
