Bought these pliers specifically to pull 2 piece push rivets off the front end of my Jeep. Just got them today and went to pull the wheel wells to get access to my radiator petcock. That's when the disappointment set in. These simply do not work on the push rivets, the teeth on the front of the pliers are too stubby to get under the head. I ended up mangling the rivet trying to get it to work, and ultimately ended up using a precision screwdriver and a cotter pin puller to get the damn things off. I initially planned to get the 2 piece gear wrench set, but decided on these mainly for their free next day delivery. I still give these 3 stars because I know they'll work fine for the barbed type clips used on my older cars, just disappointed that they didn't work for the application that I purchased them for. I guess I could sharpen the teeth of the pliers to fit better under the push rivet heads, however, for $20 I don't think I should have to re-engineer the tool. I could've ground down some old pliers to do the same thing if I wanted to go that route.
