This is my third pair of Okabashi sandals over the past 9 years or so. They are generally comfortable and I wear them inside for the most part. Pre-pandemic, they were my locker room/shower at the gym shoes and they did that well.The plastic tends to get brittle over time, and when it does, stress cracks form in sharp corners. With this new pair I'm going to keep them conditioned with 303 Aerospace Protectant to see if it helps. One note - don't apply the protectant on the bottom of the shoes or they will become very slippery.I would buy this again.

Cheap knock off at high price. Inferior quality. Bait and switch job. Company must have changed design. The excellent arch support of at least the last 20 years is no longer a part of Okabashi.

While a but lose for the price it does the job. Shower slippers are just that so if you walk further than to the beach and back, into the store and back, etc then Id try something else.

Would've given it 5 stars if not the the side tearing that resulted in me letting em go. They are heavy no doubt, but if you are into that kinda stuff it's no biggy. Lasted a lil over a year. But please do note- I WORE THEM ALL THE TIME.<br /><br />When cleaned they easily get mistaken for leather sandals.

Only problem I have with them is the width, is somewhat narrow, am hoping they may stretch out some after they are broken in.
