Initial review of 4/5 stars for wrong description. It literally says 34;Made in China34; on the packaging. Will update after continued use for work.

Irwin namebrand tool hasn't failed yet after a lot of use. Small contact head and clearance space around c-clamp allows for better access.

I use these clamps to temporarily hold steel studs together before drilling and screwing them together. They work fine. My only gripe is that there is a fair amount of slop in the mechanism that results in some miss-alignment in the two gripping ends.

The Chinese made version Irwin now sells are adequate, but not as substantial as they were back when they were made in the U.S.

These work well. I am using mine on 18 gauge steel studs and tracks. I did not give it 5 stars because they seem to loosen up every few clips and I have to readjust them. I have the 6R and work well for the size of material I am using.

This is my fault I thought they were bigger than 6 inches with a 2 inch clamp. But I'm going to keep them and they look like the well-built

It won't hold 634; material, but OK for smal stuff.
