This is super heavy duty, I've used many other strap wrenches like a gearwrench one I broke. Great for heavy equipment/diesel mechanic use.

After trying different tools to remove my water filter housing, the Strap Filter Wrench is by far the best. Highly recommend.

My whole house water filter was stuck, and the plastic generic filter wrenches I had would not remove it. After some internet research, I thought I would give this Lisle 60200 a try. You do need a 1/2 drive ratchet, with an extension bar, if you do not already have one. This strap wrench gave enough leverage to loosen the filter in seconds. Excellent product.

I had a large blue filter casing that wouldn't budge. Two different plumbers couldn't get it off.I used this wrench with a rachet and a length of pipe, along with another strap wrench (not the rachet kind) and two of us pulling at the same time. We got it off!

Sometimes you just need to pull this out to loosen up an oil filter. It really helps to have in the tool box. This one goes to a 1/2 inch rachet.

Very simple to use. The price is right. There are many different brands/manufacturers of belt wrench. The Lisle belt fit the bill. The fabric of the belt is much like a heavy duty seatbelt material. It's very basic and easy to use. 1/2 socket is the correct size for heavy duty removals.Buy a 1/2 extension kit if you do not already have one. A 24-25 breaker bar makes removing filters easier. The filter wrench belt tool is pronounced Lyle Belt. The tool should last a lifetime.

Had a stubborn whole house water filter housing the would not let loose. Used this in combination with my 1/2 breaker bar and a hair drier to warm up the housing and it worked like a charm!

Used it to rotate a fence post!1/2 Breaker Bar with 20 Cheater on I and I'm strong over 200 lbs.It didn't even care, probably would've snapped 1/2 drive before the strap would fail!

The body of the tool is forged or cast steel- not stamping like other strap wrenches.

I've tried several tools to remove my Big Blue water filter, but none worked as well as the Lisle 60200 Heavy Duty Strap Filter Wrench.

I could not remove a stuck oil filter. This is the 2nd time in years of doing oil changes. The 1st time the clamp wrench worked despite completely crushing the oil filter.Unfortunately, this 2nd time it was really stubborn. I tried many different methods on YouTube with no success. I bought this strap wrench as a last resort, but I wish I would have bought it sooner. It's perfect for vertically and horizontally place oil filters. Easy to use and fits great in small places! No fear of breaking the filter in half by clamping or sticking a screwdriver through it.Also, I did buy a 4 piece ratchet adapter for $5, which is included in the pictures because I did not have a 1/2" ratchet.

We used to make tools like this back in the day, take a 1/2 drive deep well socket, cut a vertical slot in it then take a section of seat belt strap and slip it through the slot... Seems like Lisle had the same idea here. Worked great on a Kubota tractor with the original hydraulic and oil filters painted on. Time will tell how it will last, the stitches are usually the failure point on tools like this but these seem well done.
