This is a good quality table with a sturdy base. I prefer the + shape of base because then I could push the chairs in closer, but because the base is round, you have to consider the fact that you won't be able to push in accompanying chairs that far.

Great tables. I originally ordered 2 for a party, but after they arrived and I saw how nice they were, I ordered a third. I normally rent cocktail tables, and now I no longer have to. These are very sturdy and very nice quality. The only downside is that they are a little tricky to put together, so I am going to store them intact and not take them apart.

Like others have said, it is a little top heavy. It hasn't fallen over on me yet though. Happy with my purchase.
