Pretty nice and sturdy for the price. Wasn't too difficult to assemble. Didn't come out perfect but good enough. Bought it for my teenagers bedroom. The back and the drawer bottoms are a laminated cardboard. The finish is nice. For under $40 you can't go wrong.

I bought and built two of these for my bedroom while my husband was gone to do the military thing. They look like they're more expensive than they really are and have held up well so far. They really help pull the room together and give it less of a 'college kid' look and more of a 'we're grown ups now' look. Eventually I'd like to get another piece of this line.It was simple to put together and I had no issues what so ever.

Its almost dead even in height with my King size bed and looks great when together. A definite must buy.

Finally I have a respectable place to put nighttime necessities! This item was well packaged and had only one marred area which I did not notice until I had finished assembling it, which took about 45 minutes using a phillips screwdriver and a phillips screwdriver that is bent 90 degrees in the middle which is supplied with the item (it is required to tighten some screws that are hard to get to otherwise). The defect in mine was just some flaking clear coating on the front edge of one of the sides. It looked kind of like a glaze that was peeling off of the laminate. Since I wasn't expecting perfection at this price, I just painted it over with some acrylic paint I had lying around and it looks perfect.Some have commented on the cheap dowel that keeps the top drawer in and I'll comment on that, too. For me, it's great. I have no problem with it. This is what happens: if you pull the drawer more than just a little ways out, the front end tips forward until the back of the drawer makes contact with the underside of the top of the stand. It may even slide the rest of the way open until the back of the drawer catches the dowel and the drawer stops. This causes the contents of the drawer to slide to the front of the drawer, which I quite like. Also, having the drawer tip forward is not so bad... it's kind of like it is unfolding its contents to you.To fix this drawer and make it behave like the bottom drawer, just glue a piece of wood to the top of the back wall of the top drawer, so that the back of the top drawer is essentially already making contact with the underside of the top of the stand. That is what the bottom drawer does and that is why it doesn't tip forward. If I'm bored one day, I'll probably do that myself but for now it's working just fine as is.

These nightstands are extremely easy to assemble, and nice quality.There are not any issues with the balancing being top heavy anywhere

This was easy to assemble and looks great. The black is a flat black and the knobs are a great look. finger marks do show easy but that would be my only issue.

I'm satisfied with this product, it arrived on time (by the estimated date that was given) and it was packed well so none of the boards where chipped or scratched (considering it is particle board it's pretty easy to damage If the package is just being tossed about without padding). It was easy to assemble and all the pieces fit together just fine, I used wood glue on all the edges when I was putting it together just for that added bit of security.The top drawer does dip down quite a bit when you open it but there is a lil wooden peg to keep it in there (when assembling you will have to put the drawer in before you put the peg in or you won't be able to get the drawer in, this should be common sense but figured I'd just add that tid bit in there)Pay attention to the measurements, for a nightstand it is a bit on the small size but it works for what I need it to, if you have a big platform bed I'm not so sure this would be the right size for it.All in all I consider this a good buy.

So - you should read the dimensions carefully. It is on the smaller side when it comes to a bedside table but that is what I wanted. Just something for a book and a lamp as I will have my writing desk on the other side.It took me no more than 20-30 minutes to put together and it comes with all the tools you will need.It is a nice black wood grain finish.

I bought two for our new bedroom and they were easy to put together and easy to put into place. The top drawer dips when pulled out, and that is slightly annoying because my items in the top drawer fall forward, but I got some organizers and that seems to have tidied up the problem quite a bit.

I got (2) of these and both came perfectly packaged, no damage to any parts and went together pretty smoothly. The non-railed drawers work just fine for me. They do drop at the front end when you pull them out but they won't ever fall all the way out. For $40 with prime shipping, you really can't beat it. At least I couldn't find anything at the big box stores that would compete.As some other reviews noted - the allen-wrench looking piece is actually a philips head screwdriver, which is needed to get some of the pieces together.All-in-all they looked good and are plenty sturdy.

This is more than what I thought it would be. It looks an feel like a high quality product, looks great in my room, very sturdy. It took me an hour and a half to install it though. The directions could be a little more clear, had to fill in the pieces, felt like it was a treasure map or something. That is the only negative thing (not about the product itself which is why I gave it 5 stars). I used up all the screws, shelves go in and out as it should. I'm satisfied :)

I bought this to setup a small aquarium on. I was a little worried about the sturdiness of the drawer, but after setting it up I knew it would be more than enough to accommodate a 50 lb. aquarium.I was also little worried about the reviews claiming it was cheap, but I found the materials and construction of the drawers more than acceptable. Although I do agree with the reviews about the design of the drawers accurate; the drawers are not on any tracks so they do tend to drop down when pulled out.All-in-all this is a good product!!!

We were looking for something to add to our guest room. This worked out great, it does have alot of pieces to put together but it is worth it.

Make sure you first know which side is right and left and make sure they line up. A little confusing st first but good quality and looks good.

great stuff, took an hour and a half to put together, but very simple, read instructions. fits together well, it's sturdy enough for my needs. It's not made for manhandling. Just treat it well and it will do the same for you. If you need a basic nightstand, then this is the one for you.
