I like the bright light. I'm looking at coins. Most times I have to keep moving either the coin or magnifier more than I thought I would. I just believe I should have gone with my 1st choice and gotten the stand alone. I would be able to use both hands. However, it's fantastic for other things.

Heavy, good that lens is glass not plastic so less apt to scratch, image distortion around the perimeter which is distracting. Magnification is at most 3X. It's OK for casual use but not great.

I haven't fully figured out when to use this, but I keep it by my bedside for reading. So far, it has come in handy. Might be a bit heavy for someone with dexterity issues.

I keep this on my reloading bench because since I went on Medicare it seems that things do not focus and lights are not as bright. Dang government programs. Anyway the light is bright and well focused. It is very sturdy
