I've been using Swedish or Swedish "Style" goggles now for over 30 years. The originals, are still the best for what you get, how much they cost, and how long they last. They are basically disposable, and at $4 a pop, who really cares if they don't last more than 6 months? That said, I have tried these and I can say two things about them. First, the rubber gasket is nice and a slight improvement over the no gasket design of the originals; although it will eventually wear out in about 6 months of every day use, but for the added comfort, it may be worth it. Second, the anti-fog coating, like other goggles with anti-fog coatings, is extremely delicate and will not stand up to any kind of repeated touching. For those who would recommend using spit or any other form of pre-donning ritual, all that will happen is the anti-fog coating will become terribly scratched and render the goggles all but useless if you wish to see the wall before running into it. Even with great care on my part to only use water to rinse the inside of the goggle, I only extended the "new" clarity for a short time. Additionally, it appears there is some kind of adhesive used to attach the front lens to the sides - meaning these goggles are NOT a single piece of plastic? I could not tell for sure, but there was a definite bead of goo build up at the point where the front and sides meet - perhaps just more of the anti-fog coating? Bottom-line, these are nice comfortable goggles for those who like Swedish style, but are hopelessly flawed by the anti-fog coating and will last you only about 3 to 4 months of daily use before they are frustratingly opaque.
