We needed to raise our vent from 4 inches above ground to at least 12. This did not quite get there out of the box, so we added an extension pipe after the upward turn. The end result was exactly what we needed.

I am going to purchase my second Lambro unit for my second house. My first unit has been installed for a number of years. The whit was my only objection as my house is a gray stain. An inexpensive rattle can of black paint resolved that issue. Not as low a profile as the traditional flap type unit but the seal is what works and is the most important. Will sacrifice form for function. Would never use the old flap style again. I have read reviews of other manufacturers producing this type of vent and having problems. With the Lambro I have not had any problems. Two thumbs up!!!

I have always used this type of dryer vent to prevent cold air from entering the house through the clothes dryer. It also prevents small animals from using the dryer vent hose as a house. This units is easy to install and comes at a good price.

My dryer vents into the garage and was leaving a huge lint mess- this was easy to install and no more lint everywhere!

Great product, by adding some screen tape I made it even better !! And double it with frost king seal to fully make a tight seal on cold/hot air makes it a killer product!!

This vent exhaust is great, our laundry room stays as warm as the rest of the house. We use to have cold air coming in through the dryer vent and the wife complained that it was costing use money! I would HIGHLY recommend this cover!

The pop up vent does not open and close, it binds up, doesn't fully open, and remains open after dryer turns off. They should do a recall or upgrade the floating valve.

It was pretty expensive for a piece of plastic. They were running around $16 to $20 and now they have doubled that price. They do seal outside to conserve energy. Paint on them helps keep the sun's rays off the plastic and will extend the life of this vent. My last vent is about 19 or 20 years old and it is beginning to break.

It is easy to install and works well to block cold air and critters from traveling down to the dryer. The but, is that it doesn't last, true it experiences harsh conditions for plastic - hot wet air and lots of sun. The white discolors to a yellow-brown and the plastic becomes brittle. I am on my 3rd one, the previous two broke from the plastic becoming brittle and splitting on the seam. I like it enough to keep replacing.

There was a ton of cold air in the kitchen from the laundry room every winter getting in through the dryer (I discovered). Putting this on the outside of the house has made a huge difference !
