We have a bunch of these and they are very well designed and made. Also in orange they stand out nicely and easier for people not to miss.

I ordered this product for a rescue organization's wish list so I can not really speak to the overall rating. I gave it 4 stars because the lid needs to be purchased separately making it rather expensive. The reviewers who said that Lowes sells this item with the lid are incorrect. If you look at the spec sheet from Rubbermaid you will see that it indicates that this particular model FG263200 Commercial Grade does not include a lid. There are other model numbers that do include the lid but not this one.

Note that these DO NOT come with lids - should have just gotten them from Lowe's - same price and lid included

Rubbermaid has changed the diameter of the base of this trashcan, and the new ones we just bought don't fit the wheeled cart we use to take them out to the street. The older cans, same model, fit perfectly right from the start. If one of them had not split after 15 years we would still be using it. So, backhanded compliment: These cans have held up. Let's hope whatever changes they made don't cheapen how long the cans will last. Recommmended, for now. SHOPPING NOTE: Pay attention to whether the price includes the lid. Never heard of selling cans without lids, but that's what happened here.

Definitely got the job done however for the price wish it would've came with a lid. I couldn't leave the trash out for pickup because animals could've gotten inside so now I have to purchase kids separate for another additional cost.

I purchased this can for outside storage, therefore I purchased the locking top.This can is very sturdy.

The Red Trash Container arrived in perfect condition and I've had it for a few weeks now ...and so far...so good ...with it, the red container.. stands out ! if you will... and seems plenty durable enough to last a good while. I bought the lid that fits to the top and it inter locks with the container for a snug critter free fit.

I would probably have rated this a 5 if it came with a lid. I know, the picture doesn't show a lid nor does the description say there is one included, but I've never seen an outside trash can that didn't come with one!!!!
