it's alright.. not sure I actually needed it though.. but I have so much invested in my pool this didn't cost that much more for another layer of protection. my only concern is if it gets dirt trapped under it? that will make it hard to clean, I have it under permament steps.

Ideally could be a little larger.. but worked well for us and the Confer 3 steps for an in ground vinyl lined pool

Works well, the kids like to jump off the ladder and I'm sure over time it would wear a hole.

Our pool ladder was making indents into the bottom of the liner and rubbed some holes into the liner. We patched the holes and put this under the ladder and now we have security that won't happen again. Wish I would have bought it when I first put in the pool

We had previously tried different ways to prevent our ladder from sitting directly on the bottom of the pool and had a system that worked, but it just wasn't pretty. This mat is the perfect size and looks great. It went straight to the bottom with no issues, was easy to place properly, and stays put at all times. It has proven to be easy to clean as well. Our vacuum goes right over it with no issues. I wish we had purchased this when we first opened up our pool.
