It's a lot of fun to mess with and can be very versatile. I tried making one of the pink foam floating speaker panels and ended up not being impressed. I followed all the directions and tips to make it sound as good as I could and it still sounded like a tin can. I changed it to a 4x8 sheet of foam and that helped a lot but the sound quality isn't anything really impressive. I personally thought it sounded best on the bottom side of our wood table.
