Pros Good sound for the price. Con Laminate a little distorted on the corner edgess.

Definitely improved the sound quality at our lake place. While not as good as the 600 watt era sub at home it was much better than expected. It is a solid sub for a smaller room. Would buy again.

Alright, so I got this in 2013. I am writing this review in 2021 because this thing still chugs along.This thing has been plugged in and turned on for the past 8 years of my life. The auto on function needs a stronger signal to activate than I would like. Hence the reason it has been turned on for 8 years.This is a boomy subwoofer. If you aren't running other subwoofers to hit higher hz low frequencies more accurately you're probably gonna have a bad time.I have used this as a bass amp for a bassist who forgot his own rig to a show before and it performed adequately.All in all i got this for 120 bucks in 2013 and if you're going for a loud sound system this is the way to go. If you're trying to build something more fine tuned I'd stay away. But for 120 bucks it was a pretty easy choice.In conclusion, if you dont know a whole lot about sound and what you want it to sound like this sub is going to be great for you. It is heavy. And you need to be at the sub itself to change its setting compared to your whole system.
