These shorts looked great when they arrived but they do run pretty big; at least 2 sizes bigger. My son usually wear a size 18 on Husky boy shorts; but these shorts looked more like a size 20-22. They were way too big on him. Hope this helps!

These are not as blue as in the picture. Not even close. They are almost black. I had to hold them up against a pair of black shorts and only then was I able to tell that they are not quite black, but blueish black. But they are well made and seem like they will hold up so its not a total loss.

These are excellently made shorts though sized quite huge. The pair we received had a tag that said "unisex" and I suspect they sized toward big girl sized hips rather than boy sized hips. These shorts would fit a 30" waist at least. The shorts are sized very full and the waist is 27 1/2" before you even tug on the elastic and there is ample elastic, a lot. If your son takes a 16 Chaps, Nautica, Tommy or Dockers, these shorts will NOT fit, need to size down.
