The coating on the weights is a rough plastic dipped material they don't feel good in your hand. Something about it attracted my cat who chewed on these, until the cover in spots was gone. I think there are better to be had than these.

Poor design. I have small hands and I got a blister because of the narrow hand space. 2 lbs are the problem notthe 1 lbs picture same for both. _x000D_
