The shoe is as nice looking as the photo. First impressions is it appears to be of good construction, quality, comfort, style and fit. I have a wide foot (8 medium). I bought the 8.5 wide because I tend to wear thicker socks with more cushioned heel. They feel lighter than other steel toes I've worn. If they hold up as well as their appearance it's a really goo price. My Thorogoods were $200 and aren't as comfortable or as padded in and about the ankles. I work in a flight test environment, climbing around aircraft, in and out of cockpits antd avoiding having maintenance stands being run over my toes or heavy equipement getting dropped or bumped. If they can survive two years in my environment I'll be very happy

Very comfortable boot Sizes run very large I recommend getting one full size smaller than usual. If you are unsure do the trial option so you can exchange them. Design is nice in that they are easy on easy off at the end of a long day. One flaw is the laces aren't as durable as the boots. I purchased mine in April and the laces are already shredded (one star deduction since it didn't even last 6 months).

All my life I had to buy new boots every 12 - 18 months. Until I bought this caterpillar boot this is my third pair the other two both lasted 5 years each this is a tough boot thank you for the quality and strength that these boots have.

These boots seem to be pretty rugged and they look awesome, BUT I would like to know why all the shoe and boot manufacturers put LAME paper thin inserts in their foorwear????? You cannot have comfortable boots when they cheap out on the inserts, it's just ridiculous! Having said that, once I spent another 15 bucks on some REAL inserts, I had a pair of boots that were truly comfortable, but not until you get some REAL inserts!! Another weak point are the round laces that don't like to stay tied tight very good. The last two eyelet hooks toward the top suck I wish they would stick with the holes! These are a pain to lace around, you have to squeeze the lace through the narrow opening!These issues are common with a lot of footwear, and like I said these are pretty nice looking boots and most importantly, seem to be pretty rugged but time will tell.One more thing I didn't realize till now is that CAT boots are a division of Wolverine.

These boots hold up good and comfy. I am on concrete all day and curtains boots are killing my feet mid day. Not these I like them so much I am on my second pair. I will keep buying these.

I like the look and feel of these boots, the leather looks great and hasn't let any rain into the boot and they feel a little heavy but when you set your foot down when walking, working, or standing it's all evenly distributed. It's not like wearing loggers where you have a 3 steel shank in your heel and you're on your toes, way better that the running shoe style work boots too as in these don't step on a rock and blow out your ankle, the support tightens right up when you pull the laces.

After about 6 months of wearing these working 6 days a week, the comfort is fading fast. The boots are still holding up though. I think it's the insole that's done. Overall a very good boot, reasonably comfortable, at they are a true fit. They're still waterproof/resistant. They hold up well in the heat (I live and work in the desert).The only downfall is the will cause massive callous on the outside of your big toes. Not sure why, since I don't notice my big toes rubbing anything in the boot.I would recommend these boots

Toe box is good, width is good, I don't feel much arch support. The shoes run half a size big, so if you normally wear 8.5 in wide, order 8 in wide. It's definitely a 4 star considering the price.
