Using this with my hotspot. Nearest tower is a few miles. My connection is very good most of the time and I get great download speeds. This antenna definitely worth the money.

I used this to add an external antenna to my T-Mobile home internet hotspot. I went to the manufacturer website to download instructions specific to my modem. Customer support contacted me after their working hours to let me know if I needed any help to let them know. I did not need help thanks to the detailed instructions. I gotta say I was initially not impressed as the antenna gave me basically the same results I was getting if I were to take the modem outside. Not impressed but satisfied because it did allow me to leave the modem inside and receive service. My results were 8mb down and 6mb up . It is what it is. It's the best option available for the price in my area. Today however I got time and took the modem and antenna to the roof and aim, aim, aim. This antenna found a tower the modem alone never found. With only two bars of service I now get 400mb down and 3mb upload. I wish the upload was better but the download is absolutely incredible and was unexpected. The antenna definitely pulls in signal that otherwise would be unavailable.I write very few reviews but I'm so happy with this I felt the need to share. I hope others also have a great experience. Please take the time to aim and speed check. Even 10 degrees of rotation makes a difference.

I live in a rural setting in the foothills of northern California where we have usable cell service from one tower only. When our carrier took the tower offline for an extended upgrade period to add 5G, we were without cell and Internet service for about 2 months. I purchased the MIMO 4x4 Panel External Antenna Kit which allowed me to reach another more distant tower and turn a less than 1Mbps download speed into roughly 3Mbps, and which allowed for at least some connectivity and wifi calling where before using that tower was unusable. After our tower came back online with 5G I re-pointed the antenna to the newly upgraded tower and I am now pulling down an average of 300Mbps, where a next door neighbor using the same carrier and home Internet equipment is pulling down roughly 200Mbps without the MIMO antenna. The hardest part of the install other than the height of the location where I put it on the building (see photo) was disassembling the home Internet router device (from my cell carrier...not part of the MIMO kit) and disconnecting the router's internal antenna cables, and then getting the provided tiny U.FL connectors attached to the router device. I had never worked with the U.FL connectors before and my research showed they were fragile so I was a little paranoid, but once that was accomplished the rest was pretty straightforward. And again, had my carrier device made connecting external antennas possible via external ports then overall it would have been a much easier install. Also, the quality of the components in the kit were first class, and if you text the company as suggested in the provided manual you will receive additional installation info specific to your device and access to their responsive tech support. Overall I believe it was worth the money and I appreciate the extra speeds it made possible and the support from the company.

Tip: After taking apart your t-mobile home internet device, you can bring it to any shop that deals with fixing cellphones/small computer devices to have them connect it for you. I brought mine to a cellphone repair shop and they had the tools and magnifying equipment to connect the pigtails without issue. It took them 2 minutes, and I gave them 5 bucks. WAAAYYY better than risking breaking a connector of the board.

To start with, the directions were perfectly explained. The entire set up and cable run took less than 30 minutes. The results speak for themselves. From about 30mbs on a good day to now over 200mbs at any given time. Definitely worth the money if you have tall tress and obstructions between you and the tower.

This kit comes with everything you need and extra. It's basically a universal kit and you likely won't end up using some of the connectors/fittings. I was debating buying this kit or the antenna by itself and 4x long cables which would have been nearly $80 cheaper but I opted to spend the extra on the kit because I liked the idea of one clean cable run versus 4.I hooked this up to Verizon 5G Home Internet. Watch some videos online on what's involved so you have an idea what you'll need to do, but follow the instructions provided with the kit which are complete and easy to follow. Customer service is phenomenal. You can call, email or text them. I text and they responded within minutes with assistance. They will help you locate nearby towers if you have trouble using their reference resources.. which I did. From all the information in the manual and directly from their support, I only had a single instance where I was confused. I didn't quite understand the terminology in one part of their manual referring to trying different configurations. It said, “play around with different port configurations” and I didn't know if that meant different configurations of the same 4 port numbers but in different order or completely different configuration of the other terminals inside the wifi router, so I asked exactly that. Their response was, “different combinations in the connectors that goes to the back of the device.” I don't know if if it was just me, but that still seemed a bit confusing since all the cables technically go into the device! I just assumed he was referring to “completely different terminals” fortunately, I never had to get that far because I was already receiving the maximum speeds available with my current configuration. The closest tower is about a half mile away, but we don't get any signal inside of our building. When I drove right up to the tower (as close as I could get), I got speeds of 65mb/s on my device. Without the Mimo antenna, I was getting 35mb/s on our rooftop and less indoors. After connecting the system, we're getting the full speed inside the building as I was getting standing right near the tower. Our tower seems to be a 4G antenna which is capable of transmitting 5G bandwidth as well. It doesn't have the speeds anywhere near true 5G. Either way, this is pretty cool and does what it's advertised as doing. We're not by any means putting this to any rural area/long distance tests, but my signal was trash right before this and now I have a very decent backup internet for my shop (shhhh don't tell Verizon we're using it for business). Now I just need to wait for them to install a real 5G transmitter and we're ready to drop big cable “C”.

T-Mobile home Internet here getting about 14Mbps down and 3Mbps up. After modding my modem and installing this antenna, my speeds went up 10x. I currently get anywhere from 95-140Mbps down and 20-35Mbps up connected to both bands B66 and N71.

It more than tripled our Mbps download and also our Mbps upload. You just need to drill a large hole to get cable from the outdoor antenna into the house. The cable is thick. It is worth the price.

I'm one of those folks who live out in the middle of nowhere, and a good internet connection is hard to achieve. I installed this package on a T-mobile gateway, and the speeds I'm getting are over 6 times greater than what I had with my setup to Verizon. I'm making 5G connections to towers 25 miles away. But, it's not about distance, it's about the geography. This flat panel works! Although it has a broad operating field, it seems to have a sweet spot if you aim it just right in the direction of a tower. Where I could only manage 5mbps on my old Verizon setup, I am getting 35mbps on this new system with this antenna. That's not much to some users living in town, but it means the world to people living out in rural areas who are waiting a minute or more to access Email, versus being able to livestream a weather map with a bad storm approaching. Waveform tech support has been second to none, and are still working with me to achieve the best setup possible. I'm looking to try their 4x4 log periodic array to see if that will improve my signal even more since I'm able to point the antenna directly at a given tower. But, this flat panel is definitely impressive, and should work great for anyone in an urban or suburban area.Update: After more tweaking, I'm now getting speeds above 65mps down.

This product is amazing. I used the Waveform antenna wired up to a T-Mobile 5G hotspot and tried it at my old house (suburban) and my new house (rural). The Waveform antenna increased the suburban uplink and downlink speeds by a factor of 3x to 7x. Without the antenna, the T-Mobile hotspot got 25 Mbps down and 7 Mbps up. With the Waveform antenna, the T-Mobile hotspot got 125 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up. And that was with just a quick test! During a second test, in a mountainous rural countryside location, the effect was even more pronounced. This area has ZERO cell reception. No high speed internet. You have to drive 25 mins just to send an text from your phone. Here, the T-Mobile hotspot alone had absolutely no connectivity. But when connecting the hotspot to the Waveform antenna, and pointingit towards the right spot on the nearby ridgeline, I was able to get 2-3 Mbps down and 2-3 Mbps up. See attached picture. Incredible. I looked up the distance to the nearest T-Mobile tower, which is approx 10 miles away in the antenna direction, over series of seven mountain ridges, some towering over 2000ft above the terrain. This antenna blows all the other equipment out of the water, and can work without direct line of sight by bouncing signals over the horizon. Works great in suburban areas, and is a lifeline in rural areas. Try it and see, you might be surprised like I was.

I combined this antenna with a Pepwave 5G Cellular Modem. I am getting very high speeds and a strong 5G signal (RSSI=-64dB) at 3 miles from the tower through a lot of trees. Very good performance and price

I have T-Mobile WiFi which where I previously lived averaged about 40-60 mbs. Which honestly was fine for our family of five. However we just brought a home in Spring Valley CA and now live on a mountain with about four other houses that has a great view but the internet was terrible up here with an average of 1-2 mbs. I was about to switch to fiber but nothing was offered here, so I looked at videos and ended up getting this antenna. I Frankensteined my t mobile box to connect this with the antenna and I had it pointed at a tower I found through a website. Bam 150-210 mbs a second there are times were it does drop to 60 mbs a second but the fact that T-Mobile says they go up to 150 only and I can pull 210 with this sometimes it's crazy. I have a ridiculous amount of WiFi devices to include the tv and this was exactly what I needed!!! Very highly recommended. I do need to get a professional to put a hole through the wall and have the wire set up better then the way I have it rigged but right now it's fine the way it is!

Please know that you might not increase signal bars to MAX. What this device really does is strengthen the QUALITY of your modem by 50 percent or more if you are lucky. Always know your surroundings and experiment with different locations. BE PATIENT!!! I live in a very rural area and was amazed that I went from 30-60mbps speed to 150mbps. This really is enough for what I do. Ping went from high 100's to 25-30ish which made my online gaming experiences better.

Really expensive, but fantastic customer service. This really shouldn't cost this much, and the instructions don't necessarily work for the unit you purchased it for, as new modem units are constantly coming out that would need different instructions. However customer support was fantastic, when my particular unit did not come with the right wires. They were also helpful in providing better instructions. If it weren't for customer support this would've gotten three stars because the box was not correct when it was sent, but truly five star customer service! This definitely improved the signal strength and Internet speed bringing 8mbs speed up to 40-50mb. Be advised, this unit is heavy duty and the 30Foot wire is the thickest cabling I have ever seen.

Based on other reviews, I was hopeful. I'd like to give one star, but I don't think it's Waveform's fault that I'm too far from any towers. I bought this in hopes of boosting the signal to my T-Mobile home internet. There was no change whatsoever between the signal with internal antennas vs. this Waveform external antenna. I tried on the roof of the house and pointed every direction. I just am beyond frustrated that in this day and age there are places where you can't get good internet service. I live in the country, but I'm not super remote. I live 30 miles from Nashville. Will continue to hunt for options.
