I painted these brown for my Hagrid cosplay. It worked extremely well, almost better than expected. It added about 4 of height to my 63, and it really help sell Hagrid. Everyone at the convention loved it. At first it feels weird as youre walking, but after 5 minutes, you figure it out and you forget youre wearing platform boots.

The boots were decent quality and very light, making it easy to walk. The pair I received had clearly been returned, they had some old gel liners in them, and the box was all ripped up. Also you could clearly see where tape had been pulled off the cardboard and kinda smoothed over.<br /><br />Again the end product was fine, I just think QC dropped the ball on inspecting the returned item.

Fit just as described! I wear a size 12 with a wide foot and they still work well in size large. lace up all the way or you risk an ankle twist. My recommendation to the seller would be to ADD IN the amount of height it gives you. I am 6'2&#34; and I am just barely under a normal doorway so perfect.

I had to stuff the shoes , but my ankle kept buckling. I am a 10 1/2 and they were just too big, but they are nicely made.

Great looking monster boots! I bought them for a 6'5&#34; guy whom was hired to play Frankenstein's monster at the zoo during Halloween weekend. The boots made him over 7' tall. The kids loved him! They were fairly comfortable, he walked around in them for 6+ hours a day. However, he had to be careful when walking in the boots, he nearly rolled his ankle several time the first day. legit

I bought these to wear with a Frankenstein costume. They worked great. Reasonably comfortable, and the side zipper is a great feature. Just wore them in my yard haunt and other than needing to remember to lift my feet more than usual, no problems at all with my footing in these.

Great look, but that's about it. Not at all comfortable but would you really expect that from a 6&#34; platform boot. I'm a true 15 and these were small. It's a good thing I was dressed at Frankenstein because the boots made me walk like he would.

The size said 10/11 or XL, I wear a size 12 and reviews said the 2XL fit a 13 perfectly. These are about one size too big for me even with insoles in. Good luck finding your right size.

These are larger than expected, but with insoles added in and some minor stuffing (tissue paper) in the toes they can be worn. They are otherwise comfortable, but the height is not to be taken lightly. The elevation difference makes tipping (of the sole) easy. Also, the soles are not even. One sole is much more stable than the other, making it easy to trip, and even fall over. If one has experience walking in stacked shoes, these would be a good buy, as they are otherwise fine. But for someone just looking at platforms or very tall shoes, who need to do a lot of walking in them right away, or who would have to walk on gravel, grass, carpet, or other unstable surfaces, it would probably be better to get a smaller sole.
