My grandson loves this toy. He's a fan of the Puss in Boots movie, and mimics sword play. He was using sticks and butter knives. I thought this was safer.

Great but plastic is soft and will crease with battle

Perfect for my costume. The only issue I had was that I had to widen the belt thing. The sword was also a bit hard to draw, but that wasn't an issue.
