Had tiny imperfections in the glass such as air bubbles and some very thin hair size metallic strands on the base, otherwise it was a good buy for the price and came in tip top shape. I turned it into a mouthwash container since it is has no lead, it is just glass. The bottom is very thick, I do like the quality enough to replace the plastic in my bathroom and I plan on collecting several more from this company.

Ordered this for personal bedside use and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. So this is small- small carafe and glass. I drink gulps of water so I can't use it for my original purpose. My high rating is due to the shine the product gives when it has been cleaned. If you want to display an inexpensive carafe- this is it. But if you want to quench nighttime thirsts with little effort - keep looking.

I bought this for my bedroom, since I have to take a pill before bed and always forget. This item is very nice, but is not the cut glass it looks like in the photo, but still nice looking. It will work fine though.

This is a beautiful product - perfect for a sip of water at night when I wake up with a dry throat or mouth. Much more attractive then the plastic bottle of water I was using prior. Really a great, quality product.

Its heavy and very high quality, but you need to dry the cup before putting it back on top, otherwise the carafe will get wet and slippery...you will drop it.

Excellent quality and very sturdy. The product and pattern are true to the pictures. I store mouth wash in there- have been using it everyday for a few months now and have not encountered any problems.

There are seams however you get what you pay for and if someone is looking that close to things in my bedroom they will find things much more disturbing than that.

I purchased this Dublin Crystal Bedside Night Carafe as a mouthwash bottle for my bath. It really nice for this purpose. I purchased the Dublin Crystal Biscuit Barrel as a cotton ball and cotton swab container. I also purchased the Dublin Crystal Jam Jar and am using that for hair doodads. Though this crystal says 24 percent lead and made in Shannon, Ireland, it isn't terribly prismatic and that's what really makes my higher end crystal special. It works for my master bath.
