It took a couple of nights getting used to the roll. But I did get used to it as a side sleeper. I've had really amazing results using the roll, the Treat Your Own Back book also by McKenzie and ice. The exercises in the book are REALLY important in combination with the roll. This roll only works if you do them and ice every day or every other day. I'm one month in now and out of everything I've done this is the best. Goodbye steroid injections, goodbye gabapentin. Occasional Tylenol.
